Anakeesta is in full bloom this spring as part of our “Blooms and Tunes” spring event. Beginning in March and ending in May Anakeesta will feature grand and colorful spring-themed art installations throughout the park including a 20’ long blooming daisy! Listen to live music Thursday through Sunday on two different stages featuring a packed lineup of local artists. Be sure to try one of our spring-themed menu and cocktail items at one of our five dining venues. Stay and enjoy the warmer nights as Anakeesta lights up the mountain sky with colorful light displays throughout the park!

GATLINBURG, Tenn– The highly anticipated arrival of spring is even more heightened at Anakeesta as they launch their spring event “Blooms and Tunes.” Beginning in March the mountain will feature larger-than-life, spring-themed art installations, live music four days a week and chef-inspired seasonal menu items.
“It is important for us to offer new and unique experiences to our guests every season, many of whom visit us throughout the year,” said Michele Canney, Director of Marketing. “This spring especially we wanted to create an environment of celebration. Bright colors, spectacular art sculptures and music filling the air create an atmosphere of cheer that we can’t wait to share with our guests.”
Blooms and Tunes will run through May 23rd and feature:
- Large scale whimsical sculptures throughout the park including a 20’ long daisy and 10’ tall paint brushes and paint pallets
- Live music four days a week by local bands at both Black Bear Village and the brand new Anavista Plaza. Free with admission, bands will perform every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
- Seasonal Spring menu items at each of Anakeesta’s dining venues. Enjoy chef-inspired dinner specials and seasonal cocktails infused with the flavors of spring. Also new this season, breakfast is now offered on the mountain. Enjoy a delicious breakfast Cliff Top or Kephart Cafe.
- New panoramic photo opportunities from the top of Anavista Tower will begin March 4th
- Enhanced lighting throughout the garden to be enjoyed into the night
As the sun sets over the Smokies, guests can enjoy the warmer evenings on the mountain. The park comes to life at night, with twinkling lights and colorful light displays throughout Vista Gardens. The Treetop Skywalk becomes Firefly Forest as lights throughout the canopy bridges and the vegetation below give guests the sensation that they are surrounded by thousands of shimmering fireflies! Grab a seat at a firepit and enjoy a star-filled night show offered daily by nature itself.
